The Open Directory Project is the largest, most comprehensive human-edited directory of the Web. It is constructed and maintained by a vast, global community of volunteer editors.

Getting your site listed on the open directory project helps site rankings as it is considered a trustworthy source of site information because all listings are human edited and reviewed, and categorized properly if accepted.

Edits are performed by volunteers so it may take a while to get reviewed and listed but is worth the few minutes of time to submit your site.
